MS Dhoni, Matthew Hayden and five others added to ICC Hall of Fame

The International Cricket Council has announced seven new additions to its Hall of Fame.

The five male inductees are Matthew Hayden, Mahindra Singh Dhoni, Hashim Amla, Graeme Smith, and Daniel Vettori.

Pakistan’s Sana Mir and England’s Sarah Taylor are the only two females to be inducted this year.

The announcement was made by ICC Chair Jay Shah during an event in London on Monday.

The ICC Hall of Fame was launched in January 2009 as part of the ICC’s centenary celebrations and has since celebrated the greatest players to have excelled in the game.
