Government was taken to task for its handling of the education system as a motion on the “Mismanagement of the Education System” began in Parliament today.

The motion was led by Tabaquite MP Anita Haynes-Alleyne, who called on all who would follow in the debate, the approach the matter with seriousness.

One of her points of argument dealt with the state of physical school infrastructure.

In response, Education Minister Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly said she was disappointed by the motion, adding that the Ministry has been facing the practical realities of an education sector.
