MP Indarsingh thanks constituents, stands with UNC despite being replaced for Couva South

Incumbent Couva South MP Rudranath Indarsingh is standing with the UNC, despite the announcement of Barry Padarath as the General Election candidate for the constituency.

In a Facebook post today, Mr Indarsingh noted that “unexpected changes are a part of life” which challenge growth, adding that he remained thankful for the public’s encouragement after hearing of his replacement.

He offered gratitude to his parents, UNC Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar, supporters and constituents.

Mr Indarsingh also pledged his support to the UNC as it contests the April 28th General Elections, adding that service is labour standing with the people.

At an Eid Ul Fitr celebration in Princes Town yesterday, the UNC Leader announced Dr Aiyna Ali as its candidate for Princes Town and Barry Padarath as the candidate for Couva South.
