Barataria/San Juan MP Saddam Hosein believes today’s flooding at St. George’s College shows little has been done to remedy the many issues affecting the school.
The school was recently reopened after being closed for repairs.
Today, it reporetdly experienced flooding following heavy midday showers.
In a statement, MP Hosein called on the Education Minister to account for the $10 million spent on the school’s refurbishment.
He added that the gravity of the flooding problem cannot be swept under the carpet, as many issues arise, including health concerns and the relocation of students.
