Pointe a Pierre MP David Lee has condemned the robbery of a Claxton Bay family following a puja at their home.

During the incident on Sunday evening, the armed men allegedly threatened to kill the family and their pundit.

MP Lee took aim at those in authority, saying criminals are being empowered by the consistent failure to implement modern, innovative, and globally tested crime fighting initiatives.

He adds that in Pointe a Pierre there is a need for funding and support for a Police Post, as well as more police vehicles to ensure more patrols.
