A UNC MP says complaints raised by the public at a recent town hall meeting show that waiting times for healthcare services the public health system are unacceptable.

Fyzabad MP Dr Lackram Bodoe, in a media release, notes reports of several persons raising issues to the Parliament’s JSC on Social Services at a public meeting on Wednesday.

He is calling for action from the Health Minister in addressing issues raised, including the wait to get echocardiograms.

Dr Bodoe says the JSC must be commended for hosting the public meeting and giving people an opportunity to comment.
