A Morvant contractor was murdered this morning.

Around 10:50am, loud explosions were reported at Paradise Heights.

Responding officers later found the body of a man lying in the washroom area of Building D.

The victim, identified as 52-year-old Peter Ferdinand Shoy, had been shot several times and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shoy lived at Building D.
