A 52-year-old man was struck and killed by a truck along the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway this morning.

Around 7:10am, the driver was heading south along the Highway when a pedestrian suddenly ran across the road just before the Brentwood merge-lane.

The deceased has been identified as Omardath Beharrysingh of Bridgemohansingh Street, Montrose.
