The Facebook page ‘PNM St. Joseph’ is not Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh.

The page has been sharing content for months, with posts taking the perspective of the Minister and St Joseph MP.

In a statement, the Health Ministry says the page does not have any legitimate affiliation with the Minister or his office.

It adds that steps have been taken to report the page and urged those responsible for it to “cease and desist from their actions immediately.”

Members of the public are also being urged to avoid engaging with or sharing information from the page, with the Ministry stating “The public is advised that any post on this fake profile is to be ignored as it is calculated to cause political mischief. In addition, this fake profile does not reflect the Minister’s values as Minister of Health and a Member of Parliament. The public is reminded that all official communications from the Ministry of Health will be shared through verified channels.”
