Major League Cricket in the USA bowled off last evening with Dwayne Bravo and the Texas Super Kings beating Sunil Narine’s LA Knight Riders.
Texas batted first at Grand Prairie and made 181/6 in 20 overs with a top score of 61 from David Miller and 55 from Devon Conway.
Narine took 1/29 in four overs while Trinbago Knight Riders alum Ali Khan took 2/40, also bowling his full quota.
In response, the Knight Riders were bowled out for 112 in 14 overs as spinner Mohammed Mohsin took 4/8 in three overs.
Andre Russell provided some resistance for the Knight Riders with 55 from 34 before he was caught behind giving Bravo his lone wicket in the game.
The MLC continues with a double header today – MI New York vs San Francisco Unicorns at 4:30pm and Seattle Orcas vs Washington Freedom from 8:30pm.
Kieron Pollard and Nicholas Pooran are part of the MI New York franchise, Shimron Hetmyer and Hayden Walsh are with Seattle and Akeal Hosein is with Washington Freedom.
