Officials from several ministries have been deployed to monitor the situation in areas affected by the ongoing inclement weather.
Flooding has been reported in various parts of the country following persistent heavy rainfall.
According to a notice, the Prime Minister has instructed deployments by the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government and the Ministry of Agriculture Lands and Fisheries.
Their teams are working to assess and respond to any emerging issues as T&T remains under a Yellow Alert.
This Alert has been extended and will now continue until 6PM tomorrow (Monday).
