The Tourism Ministry has recognized Helen Camps, Maria Lee and Shastri Maharaj for their contributions to T&T’s Theatre Arts, Chinese Folk Art and Visual Arts sectors respectively.

They were awarded during a ceremony at Queen’s Hall, Port of Spain last evening.

The Ministry’s Deputy Permanent Secretary Jasmine Pascal said the awardees are all luminaries, with a wealth of experience in their respective fields.

The 2023 Mentoring by the Masters programme was also launched at the event.

Approximately 42 participants have enrolled in the programme, which will run during August to October this year and will be mentored by the three awardees.
