The Agriculture Minister is warning that all illegal livestock found at sea and on farms will be seized and destroyed.

His stern words came as he toured key sites across the southern peninsula today, including Cedros and Icacos.

Of particular concern is the rampant illegal importation of agricultural products and wildlife, which the Ministry says poses significant risks to both the environment and public health.

He says persons must also be cautious of such activity since it jeopardizes the lives and livelihoods of citizens.

The Minister said, “I strongly caution against the purchase of items stemming from illegal imports. These actions not only impact our communities but also have severe health implications. We cannot compromise the well-being of our families and loved ones, so I urge everyone to be proactive in safeguarding our environment and public health.”
