Minister with responsibility for Gender and Child Affairs, Ayanna Webster-Roy, is encouraging persons to reach out to the relevant support services for recovery and healing.

Her statement follows a reported murder/suicide incident in Chaguanas yesterday, involving WPC Josette Marshall and acting Corporal Dwight Skeete.

While extending condolences to the bereaved families, Mrs Webster-Roy urged people not to use violence to address various challenges.

She also highlighted supporting agencies such as the National Family Services, National Domestic Violence Hotline, the Children’s Authority and the TTPS.
