While T&T literary icon Michael Anthony will be laid to rest at a private funeral, there are plans for public celebrations of his life.

This is according to his family who issued an updated statement today, thanking people who extended support and well wishes.

Mr Anthony, known for books like “Green Days by the River” and “The Year in San Fernando”, passed away on August 24th, 2023.

The family says plans for public celebrations will be announced at a later date.
