The Met Service has issued a Yellow Level Hazardous Seas Alert that will be in effect from 4PM today until 4PM on April 10th.

Affected areas will include T&T’s Northern and north-eastern exposed coastlines and the north facing coastline in the Gulf of Paria to a lesser extent.

Persons can expect agitated seas over this period, with worsened conditions during high tides, while larger than normal breakers are expected in the surf zone.

All marine interests are advised to exercise caution while persons are urged to limit near shore activities where possible and avoid swimming in agitated seas.
