A 56-year-old mechanic has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 19-year-old man on Carnival Tuesday.

Prince Charles was fatally stabbed on March 4th, while liming along the Eastern Main Road in Sangre Grande.

Shane Purcell was charged and appeared before Master Liebert in the High Court North ‘B’ yesterday.

The next hearing date has been set for June 25th, 2025.
