Mayaro MP Rushton Paray has participated in the launch of a 4.5 kilowatt Photovoltaic Solar System.

The project was a joint venture involving the European Union, the Global Climate Change Alliance, and the Planning Ministry.

According to Mr Paray, the recipient of the system is the Strong Ones Youth Club located in Guayaguayare.

The solar installation will demonstrate the benefits of renewable energy solutions, while also providing the club with sustainable electricity.

Also attending the event was EU Ambassador, Peter Cavendish, who praised T&T’s efforts to advance renewable energy solutions.
