Hayley Matthews put in her second Player of the Match performance in a row as West Indies secured a T20I series win over Ireland.

In yesterday’s second T20I, Matthews took 1/24 in four overs to help keep Ireland down to 113/7 in 20 overs – there were four run outs.

Then, the Barbadian all-rounder made 50 from 39 balls as West Indies made light work of the chase, getting to 114/2 in 16.4 overs to go 2-0 up in the three match series.

Earlier this week, Matthews picked up the Player of the Match award when West Indies won the opening T20I.

In that match, she made 37 and took 3 wickets.

The final T20I will be played tomorrow at 5pm in St Lucia.
