An inspired performance by Hayley Matthews led the West Indies Women to a record-breaking seven wicket win over Australia Women today.

Batting first, Australia posted 212/6 from their 20 overs, with a top score of 70 by Ellyse Perry.

Matthews had the best bowling figures with 3/36.

Matthews then scored a stunning 132 runs off just 64 balls, helping the Windies chase down the imposing target.

It is the highest run chase in women’s T20 international history.

The three match T20I series is now tied 1-1.
