West Indies’ Hayley Matthews has committed to Melbourne Renegades for a third season ahead of this year’s Women’s Big Bash League.

Matthews initially joined the Renegades ahead of the 2022 tournament as pick number three in the inaugural overseas player draft.

She has since become a pivotal player for the team, scoring 255 runs and taking 14 wickets last season and captaining the squad in the absence of the injured Sophie Molineux.

This year’s Women’s BBL will run from October 27th to December 1st.
