An cigarette sales driver for Massy Distribution was killed this afternoon in St. Anns during a robbery on his route.

A security guard who accompanied the employee was also wounded and has been hospitalised.

According to reports, the shooting incident took place at River Road around 12.45pm, when gunmen pulled up and opened fire.

The driver, reportedly identified as Che Mendez, died at the scene.
