An online property tax payment option is being developed, according to Minister in the Finance Ministry, Brian Manning.

Mr Manning was responding to questions on a radio programme about long lines at payment centres.

He explained that government is aware of the situation and is working on other methods of payment, one of which will be online.

Mr Manning could not say when the measure would be available.
