A 37-year-old man has been shot dead in Diego Martin.

Around 1:50pm yesterday, Chris Bonaparte was standing at the corner of Cizan Trace and Blue Basin Road when masked men came of a car and opened fire.

Bonaparte died at the scene while another man was treated for injuries.

Meanwhile, police yet to identify the body of a man found in a cemetery in Morvant.

A report by Newsday says officers responded to reports of gunshots heard around 5:45am yesterday at Baptiste Cemetery.

There, they found the victim’s body.
