A man was shot and killed by police in San Juan last night.

According to reports, 50-year-old Dale Baird was fatally shot after he allegedly pointed a shotgun at officers who entered his home.

Speaking on the incident at today’s TTPS briefing was Acting DCP Curt Simon who said the officers were attacked and returned fire.

He adds that a number of the officers were wearing body cameras, with the footage to be used as the incident is investigated.
