A 47-year-old Morvant man was fatally shot this morning along Wrightson Road in Port of Spain.

103.1FM News understands Wendell Walker was found around 1:20am, slumped over the steering wheel of a silver Mercedes Benz.

The car was in the middle of the East bound lane near the walkover, with multiple bullet holes.

The victim was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
