A 33-year-old Beetham man was killed in the area last night.

Around 7pm, Keston Thomas allegedly chopped and wounded a fellow resident, who had to be taken for medical treatment.

Said to be an outpatient of the St. Ann’s Hospital, Thomas had been behaving erratically and continued to do so after the incident.

Attempts were made to have him taken for treatment, however before he could be found, several loud explosions were heard.

According to the TTPS, Thomas was found lying motionless along the roadway in Phase Five, with apparent gunshot and chop wounds about the body.
