One man was killed after shots were fired at a Barataria car wash this afternoon.

A report by Guardian Media identified the victim as 23-year-old Elijah Sambury.

The victim was at the car wash on 7th Avenue around 2:15pm, when a black car drove up to them and shots fired from within.

Sambury died at the scene and another man was injured.
