A 50-year-old man was held at the Scarborough Port after police seized one kilogram of marijuana.

Officers were at the port yesterday when they noticed the suspect acting suspiciously after exiting the MV Cabo Star in a while panel van.

A search of the vehicle turned up a green and black plastic bag containing two packages of marijuana.

The suspect was arrested and taken to the Scarborough Police Station along with the drugs and vehicle.

He is a vendor said to be from #13 13th Street, Beetham Gardens and also of Zion Hill, Belle Garden, Tobago.
