A 21-year-old man has been charged with the shooting incident at the Cumaca RC Primary School on June 5th.

On that morning, the father of a pupil attending the school ran onto the compound as he was being pursued by a gunman.

The father was shot on his right arm while the assailant then ran out of the school compound and escaped through a nearby cemetery.

Following investigations, the suspect was arrested on July 6th and charged with ‘Wounding with Intent’.
