One man has been arrested for allegedly making death threats via social media.

The suspect was held during an intelligence-led exercise yesterday morning.

The TTPS says following extensive inquiries into threats against persons in the Arima Police District, officers went to a residence at Nandaramsingh Avenue, Philippine, San Fernando.

There, they questioned a male suspect who was subsequently detained.

No details have been given regarding the actual threat made or the social media platform(s) used.
