A pensioner is alive even after he plunged almost 100 feet down a precipice in Tobago on Sunday.
According to reports, Trevor Charles of Mt. St. George lost control of his vehicle and crashed through a wooden barrier along the hilly Windward Road.
The vehicle was trapped by a bamboo patch, preventing it from going into the sea.
Charles was rescued by first responders and taken for medical treatment.
There have been several landslides in the hilly Tobago areas recently due to the heavy rainfall, with TEMA reporting one along the Castara Main Road on Saturday.
