An apartment complex owner and a bandit were both killed during a home invasion in Carapichaima yesterday.

A report by the T&T Express says 37-year-old Mario Maraj was at the complex on Rodney Road, when an armed bandit walked to the landlord’s apartment around noon and announced a robbery.

Maraj reportedly fought back and during the struggle, both men were shot.

Both died at the scene.
