Despite an unbeaten 75-run partnership between Andre Russell and Sunil Narine, LA Knight Riders remain winless in the 2023 Major League Cricket.

Their opponents last night, San Francisco Unicorns, made 212/7 on the back of 78 from 41 by Matthew Wade.

Russell and Narine, as well as Ali Khan, took a wicket each, while Adam Zampa took 3/41.

In response, LA Knight Riders collapsed from 103/2 to 116/5 before Russell and Narine made a lower order push with 42 and 28 respectively.

However, LA could only get to 191/5 in 20 overs, falling short by 21 runs to remain bottom of the table with zero points from three games.

The fixtures take a break today and resume tomorrow with the Knight Riders back in action against Akeal Hosein and the Washington Freedom.
