Persons now have until November 30th 2023 to pay traffic tickets and mask fines issued during certain dates.

Notice of this extension comes today from the Judiciary.

It says the deadline applies to Traffic Tickets issued before May 26th 2020, and to Public Health Fixed Penalty Notices and Safe Zone penalties (mask fines) issued between March 16th 2020 and September 30th 2023.

The Judiciary adds that failure to pay the fines before November 30th may result in an arrest warrant, a $5,000 fine and three days imprisonment.

It also says if a CourtPay voucher is being used to pay online, the payment is only final when the voucher is applied to the fine or fee on the CourtPay website.
