Jason Holder and Alick Athanaze will join St Kitts & Nevis Patriots for the 2025 Caribbean Premier League.
They will leave Barbados Royals, which has in turn secured the services of Sherfane Rutherford for this year’s tournament.
The transfer marks the end of an era for Holder, who has been a consistent leader and key figure for the Royals for over a decade.
He has been with the team since the league’s inaugural season in 2013 and was part of their championship wins in 2014 and 2019.
Rutherford previously represented the Guyana Amazon Warriors and the Patriots.
Athanaze meanwhile was one of the standout performers for the Windward Islands Infernos in the West Indies Breakout League.
As per CPL regulations, teams are permitted to negotiate trades and transfers ahead of the official draft, which is set to take place next month.
CPL 2025 will run from August 14th to September 21st.
