Jamaica: Students hospitalized after eating sweets reportedly containing THC

Over 60 students at a school in Jamaica were reportedly taken to hospital after consuming sweets believed to be containing marijuana compound THC.

According to the Jamaica Observer, the students had bought sweets from a vendor who is not known or connected to the Ocho Rios school.

Students were reported to have symptoms including vomiting, dizziness and blackouts.

Police have since said that the matter is being treated with the strictest urgency.
