Former UNC Minister and ILP leader Jack Warner is set to feature on a UNC stage once again, as the party holds a joint meeting with the NTA ahead of the August 14th Local Governemnt Elections.
The meeting, to be held in Tunapuna on Monday, will feature speeches by UNC leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar, NTA leader Gary Griffith and Warner.
Warner has been absent from the political limelight since his last defeat under the ILP, which was formed after disagreements with the UNC following their time in Government.
Aside from being featured in Monday’s campaign meeting, it is not clear what role Warner will play in the future of the alliance between the UNC and NTA or politics in general.
He is set to explain more during his speech.
