Iwer George has taken to social media to share the new version of “Happy People”.

And as promised, this one does not include the National Anthem.

The nearly three minute video was posted to Iwer’s official Instagram account this morning.

The soca star announced the re-release earlier this week following uproar over his use of the Anthem in the original version of the song.

Among those commenting was Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley, who said he believed the National Anthem should not be used in such a way, since it has a profile and a place that no other song has.
