Businessman Ish Galbaransingh has passed away.

Multiple reports quote a message purportedly sent by his wife Cheryl which indicated that he died after a four-year fight with cancer.

In 2005, Galbaransingh was charged in a corruption matter pertaining to the construction of the Piarco International Airport.

Galbaransingh previously told the media that the court matter had destroyed his family’s lives.
