Ireland beat WI by 124 runs in 1st ODI

The West Indies have lost by 124 runs to Ireland in their 1st ODI in Dublin.

Batting first, the Irish made a commanding 303/6, with a top score of 112 from Andy Balbirnie.

Matthew Forde was the pick of the bowlers, grabbing 3/68.

The Windies reply lacked conviction and at one point they were 71/6.

Roston Chase then scored 55 as part of a late recovery effort, however in the end the visitors were bowled out for 179.

The 2nd ODI will be played on Friday.
