International Masters League trophy unveiled

The International Masters League trophy has been unveiled.

The tournament bowls off on February 22nd in India and will see some of the greatest names in cricket returning to the field.

There are six teams each led by a cricketing legend:

  • West Indies – Brian Lara
  • India – Sachin Tendulkar
  • South Africa – Jacques Kallis
  • Sri Lanka – Kumar Sangakkara
  • Australia – Shane Watson
  • England – Eoin Morgan

Most of the captains were present for today’s trophy unveiling ahead of the tournament.

The West Indies Masters side is stacked with a number of regional stars:

The West Indies Masters will open their campaign against Australia Masters on February 24th.

Teams will compete in the league stage before advancing to the semi-finals on March 13th and 14th, leading up to the grand final on March 16th.
