The T20I series of West Indies vs. India has a tense ending, with the fifth and final game, to be played on Sunday in Ft. Lauderdale, set up as the decider.
After being 2-0 down in the first two games, India’s resurgence came in the third and fourth matches, the latter played on Saturday 12th August in North America.
The West Indies, batting first, scored 178 for 8 on a steady batting surface as Shimron Hetmeyer blasted 61 and Shai Hope adding 45 runs. Arshdeep Singh took the best figures of 3/38 for India.
In response, India were ruthless, as openers Shubman Gill (77) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (84 not out) led the chase, losing just one wicket and leaving 18 balls to spare.
The deciding match starts at 10:30am.
