The Met Service is monitoring two low pressure troughs in the Atlantic Ocean.
The first area is expected to affect some Caribbean countries, including T&T over the weekend, producing patches of showers and thunderstorms over broad areas.
This system is undergoing slow development, and the National Hurricane Centre says there is a low chance of cyclone formation.
The Met Service also says the second low pressure trough is located further east in the Atlantic and has a 40% chance of cyclone formation over the next few days.
It is reiterating that there are no alerts or watches in effect for this country.
