Ideas have been exchanged for events to be held throughout the year to commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations between T&T and China.

This is according to the Foreign Affairs Ministry following a meeting between Minister Dr Amery Browne and China Ambassador Fang Qiu.

The 50th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic relations will be observed on June 20th, 2024.

No details were given of the ideas discussed to celebrate the occasion.
