“iCarly” revival cancelled

The “iCarly” revival series has been cancelled after three seasons.

According to Variety, the show will not return for a fourth season on Paramount+.

Ordered in 2020, the new series followed a now adult Carly Shay (Miranda Cosgrove), as she reunited with her brother Spencer (Jerry Trainer) and longtime friend and cameraman Freddie (Nathan Kress).

She sets out to revamp her popular web show with the help of old and new friends.

The original “iCarly” ran for six seasons from 2007-2012 on Nickelodeon.

Commenting on the cancellation was Kress, who thanked fans and the show’s production team.

He also lamented that it ended on a cliffhanger and hoped that, someday, the ending would be told.
