The Hunters Search and Rescue Team says it has been informed by contacts in Venezuela of a body of a man found along the Perdernales coastline on Saturday evening.

In a post to Facebook, the group says the families of five missing fishermen from Cedros were informed of the discovery but identification is still outstanding.

It adds that searches along the coastline in Venezuela must be intensified.

David Seepaul, Devanand Seepaul, Gonzalez Ali, Shiva Rampersad and Jeremiah Pasqual have been missing since the weekend of February 24th after leaving Fullerton to fish.
