The hunt is on for the suspect in a double homicide in Diego Martin.

This follows the shooting death of two women around 11:15am today at Shorelands.

The deceased have been identified as 66-year-old Carmelita DeLeon and 43-year-old Calida Schamber.

The suspect is believed to be a member of the TT Defence Force.

103.1FM News understands the TTPS and TTDF are collaborating in an effort to arrest the suspect, with reliable leads being followed.
