The Met Service’s Hot Spell Alert has been discontinued.
This took effect at 4pm today, in keeping with the expectation of the recent Yellow-Level Alert.
Moving forward, the Met Service says the likelihood of extended periods of extremely high daily temperatures has significantly decreased.
This, it notes, is due to anticipated cloudy and/or rainy conditions over the coming days.
The daily temperatures are forecast to be warm as usual for the rest of October, as T&T approaches the end of its heat season.
