Hodge/Da Silva resistance helps WI to 266/8 vs Australia

Kavem Hodge and Joshua Da Silva put on a 149-run 6th wicket partnership, but regular wickets have left West Indies at 266/8 in the second Test against Australia.

The duo had one of only three partnerships to go past 33 runs to rescue the visitors from 64/5 before Da Silva was removed for 79 and Hodge sent back to the dugout for 71.

Alzarri Joseph put on 41 for the 8th wicket with Kevin Sinclair before he was caught in slip on the 4th ball of the last over of the day.

Mitchell Starc led the Australia bowling attack with 4/68 in 20 overs.

West Indies are trailing 1-0 in the two match Test series.
